The best way I could describe myself is as a creative juggler. I am a writer, an illustrator and a creator of beautiful odd things. I am a soul who doesn't like to be pinned down to one creative discipline but rather I like to pick up whichever project I am most drawn to on any particular day and run with it.

Each illustration tells its own unique story. I create my illustrations as digital collages, this lets me experiment with compositions, textures as well as style. I love incorporating photography, watercolours, fabric, embroidery and dried flowers to make my 3d collages or digital art.

My writing started as twisted fairytales for my children. With the words came images of how these worlds looked, breathed and worked. These tales evolved into short stories, picture books, novels and articles for magazines. I work back and forth between writing and illustration, each inspiring and pushing the other further.
